Remote Learning Plan

Remote Learning Information

In the event that a remote learning day is called, students will participate in asynchronous instruction. Asynchronous instruction means that students will complete lessons and assignments on their own schedule, rather than in real-time with a teacher. While there will be no live class sessions, all assignments and materials will be provided, and students are expected to work independently to complete the tasks for the day.

If you experience any connectivity issues or difficulties with completing the work, please remember that according to CCS School Board Policy, students have up to five (5) days to submit their assignments upon returning to school. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility with remote learning.

 

Specific instructions for your school's remote learning plan are as follows:

Greetings Opportunity families!

In the event of inclement weather, your student will be issued a manila folder containing structured and meaningful course work so that students can complete assignments and tasks while they are at home. These packets were developed by Opportunity teachers and these assignments are aligned to the curriculum standards for their courses.  Please encourage your student to complete as many assignments as possible and return them to teachers once school is open.  This will assist your student in staying engaged in the material and achieving mastery so that transition to home schools is within reach!

Please email administration if there are any questions.  Students, please do your best and bring your packets back to school completed!
